VoiceCast Privacy Policy

VoiceCast (“the app”) is developed by Sebastian Duque (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains how the app handles information, in plain terms: it doesn’t collect any. VoiceCast runs 100% locally on your device — there are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no network connection to us or anyone else.

Data collection

We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any personal data, usage data, or audio from your device. VoiceCast has no backend server and does not send any information over the internet.

Microphone and Bluetooth use

VoiceCast requests microphone access to capture audio from your phone, and Bluetooth access to stream that audio to a speaker you’re connected to. Audio flows directly from your phone’s mic to your Bluetooth speaker in real time — it passes through the app live and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere else, including to us.

Local storage

VoiceCast does not save or store any audio. Any app preferences it keeps (such as your last-connected device or volume level) stay on your device using standard app storage. You can clear this at any time by uninstalling VoiceCast or clearing its storage in your device settings.

Third-party sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose any data to third parties, because we do not collect any data to begin with. VoiceCast does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children’s privacy

VoiceCast does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because the app does not collect information from any user. The app is not directed at children and contains no functionality that transmits data off-device.

Security

Because all data stays on your device, its security is governed by your device’s own operating system and security settings. We recommend keeping your device’s OS up to date.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of VoiceCast adds a feature that involves data collection — we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
